I’ve used this style of planner for a few years now. I appreciate the quality of the paper & the layout (I like having the free space for each week vs some other available layouts, would just encourage you to double check that you’re getting the version you want as you place the order)! Will likely opt for this brand/style next year, too!

Excellent datebook and lovely color, too! Great paper and the pens are smooth and flowing. Shipping is quick as usual and Amazon rocks!

Horrible quality paper. Literally like tracing paper you can see all the printing on the other side and it looks impossibly messy. I'm so disappointed with how bad this brand has become after loving them for years. Seriously don't waste your time and effort because you will be returning this. I don't understand how people would ever use it!

I’ve been using Lleuchtturm1917 journals for about 20 years, and it’s time to admit their quality has taken a nose dive, and their marketing has become intentionally deceptive. When I got one from Amazon last year, it arrived with a dent in the cover; I opted to keep it and just deal with it, but this second one also has a dent in the exact same place, which tells me there’s a fabrication issue they don’t care to correct. Last year’s planner included an alphabetized booklet, which was the basis of them describing it as “planner and notebook” and was the primary reason I went for it again. I noticed this booklet wasn’t mentioned in the description, but again, I assumed when I bought it the first time that this is what they meant by “notebook.” Compared to any other planner it’s very low on features, and the “project planner” is more like a habit tracker, so this seemed a smart way to encourage sales. This year? Just 10 razor-thin blank pages in the back. Not dotted, blank. This should be at least $5 cheaper than it is for the lie that it’s also a notebook in and of itself. I need to say that again, since it makes me so angry: this is *not* a notebook. The paper quality? Moleskine quality with a premium price tag. The cover is badly glued, which means the spine will deteriorate with frequent use — which has been an issue with every Llleuchtturm journal I’ve bought for the last two years. When you put them on a shelf, the spines look absolutely awful — especially the 120 pound paper varieties, which are even more expensive. I gave it 2 stars because I love the color, the addition of the year on the spine, and the interior layout font selection. Otherwise, this is overpriced, cheaply-made and highly-priced mistake. Guess I’ll have to finally surrender and move on to a different brand.
