The sanding pad has the loop part of the hook/loop fastening.It is very weak, not enough strength to stay on while sanding. Flies off more than 50% of the time.I bought this due to price, I got what I paid for. I suggest you do NOT purchase this.

I use these for sanding bowls turned on the lathe. I use them mounted on a drill and with just a foam pad. Any consumable like this can get pretty spendy if it is use a lot. I bought a set with the drill mount and foam pads to hold them. The discs came in 60 thru 3000 grit. Pretty obvious but I wound up with a ton of grits that I would never in a million years use and up till now was going to have to sell my first born to get any quantity of the grits that I actually use. Apparently they have recently started selling these though I only found 2 of the grits that work for me. It would be nice if they started offering more.
