Baritone is not my main sax, so it's nice to have a plastic reed for rapid switching - it responds well, and plays instantly - no need to keep it wet. I suppose I could have gone for a 2.5 or 3, but the 2.0 is very easy to play.

Can't replace cane but does the job...

I first used a Legere reed on my alto sax -- the Signature model. It was terrific -- so I got one for my tenor sax. Again, a great reed, although I ended up getting just a slightly stronger reed for the tenor. Since they were so good on my first 2 attempts, I got one for my bari. Great reed -- no soaking required, just slap it on and start honking. Response is outstanding -- from high to the very low; the lows speak more responsively that with a cane reed. I play (primarily) in a jazz big band (usually tenor or bari), and also occasionally with a small combo. The Legere bari reed lets me turn the volume up with the big band, and then turn it down with the small group -- with no loss of tone quality. Quite a reed.
