After two monts of using all I can say is that it works perfect. It is sturdy as a base and great feature is that it have a mute button. You can use it with dynamic or condenser mic. I dont know why it does not have better rating. All in all great product.

The unit is well built. However after moderate use in a professional studio the switch malfunctioned within two months and failed to close the signal so was ineffective. Gentle movement on the button after malfunction induced partial close of signal but not full which meant a faulty switch.Amazon refunded money without return of item which is good due to its weight.

Warum konnte man den roten Knopf nicht mit einer LED beleuchten. Im abgedunkelten Raum ( Studio z.B.) kann man nur schwer ausmachen ob der Knopf gedrückt ist oder nicht. Eine kleine rote LED, die dann leuchtet, wenn das Mikrofon offen ist wäre sehr hilfreich. Könnte mit Batterie oder mit der Phantomspannung umgesetzt werden. Das Gewicht ist sehr gut, also ordentlich schwer, so bleibt der Schalter an der Stelle liegen, wo man ihn hingelegt hat.
