Any art supply from Japan is amazing and this brush is no exception. Works fluidly with surface and ink pigmentation is dense and opaque. The bristles always allign themselves to pointy tip and allow very precise strokes. Just for it! 😁

Adoro questa brush pen! Ormai ce l'ho da qualche anno e va ancora benissimo. L'avevo presa per sostituire la brush pen della pentel con cui invece mi trovavo male, e devo dire che è davvero perfetta per inchiostrare tavole a fumetti o schizzi vari. Attenti solo che la cartuccia inclusa usa inchiostro solubile in acqua, ma una volta finito potete benissimo ricaricarla con uno indelebile. Se la usate raramente il mio consiglio è di dare una bella lavata alla punta al momento del cambio inchiostro, così la riammorbidite in caso che quello vecchio avesse indurito un po'le setole

Swift arrival in good condition; No flaws or damage to the package. The pen is easily my new beloved as it is simplistic, sleek and convenient with a very nice brush tip. A bit fluffy but very soft (like an actual brush) and with great control although I could see it fraying for people of they use the brush too roughly. Produces lovely and fluid lines even with the most gentle strokes giving a great feel of flow that appeals to me for how you don't feel the friction.Setup is simple and it comes with two cartridges though it is empty so one of them is to fill the pen and the other is a refill. Pen case is hollow to allow the cartridge to be socketed into the brush (you pop the wide end with the metal ball into the slot of the brush tip) but one little thing I love is there's just enough room in the pen casing to slide the unused cartridge and give the pen a normal weighted feel. This, I like a lot. The casings are for a very lovely kind of ink and so the designs are already pleasant but being able to keep a spare ink cartridge in the pen at all times just feels thoughtful.Ink does take a bit to start flowing and I think my first one was a bit off since it looked a little emptier than the other one. When it does go, though, keep an eye on if it continues flowing well. Somehow I actually like when the ink looks spotty from slow dripping, however, and it's likely not common. You may use the ink a bit quickly, though. Try the pen first and if you like it, I would get a good supply of replacement cartridges since this feels like a pen that can last well with care.

Dal punto di vista tecnico-pratico è un pennello strepitoso, di una versatilità e praticità superiore ai pennelli tradizionali. Le setole così morbide permettono un tratto e linee uniformi ed eleganti. Scorre sul figlio morbidamente che bisogna soltanto accompagnarlo, il resto del lavoro lo fa da solo. Adatto per i fumettisti! Ma la brevità delle ricariche e la mancanza di inchiostri compatibili con cui riempire i refil vuoti ne fanno un attrezzo poco conveniente e scomodo visto che le ricariche non durano niente e bisogna comprarle all infinito.

la penna è carina, ben fatta e con inchiostro piacevole e ben scorrevole...ancora non ho sostituito la cartuccia e quindi non so bene la durata della stessa.

This is a fantastic pen. If wielded the right way, the artist can accomplish lines as fine as any a fountain pen might produce, and without the annoying hassle of leakages and frequently broken nibs.The pluses are:- You can draw on two sides of a sheet of paper, and the ink dries instantly, not flooding or causing paper to warp. I have done such on thin, low quality paper.- Versatile. I used this on high, artist quality paper, which is rather porous, but regardless this is always like writing with silk upon silk.- I highly recommend artist quality paper, as the tones and indentations will add definition and pizazz to your works, but as there is no bleeding this is not mandatory at all. I would say, try traditional rice paper, but only if this is specific to an effect you wish to produce. There is no requirement to use paper that is thick, as the ink is of such a type that bleeding does not ever occur.- Attractive design. This is obviously not an expensive pen, but is aesthetically pleasing, the parts being joined with brass rings rather than plastic. It is the length and girth of a traditional Tsume (meaning claw) pen.I recommend that you buy a refillable cartridge, though the disposable Kuretake cartridges are hardly excessively priced compared to - ahem! - the OTHER brand, yes Pentel, we mean you.

Fantastico regalo per gli appassionati di disegno artistico, manga e illustrazione in generale.La punta morbida (in questa versione, la punta è sottile) permette di tracciare bordi molti leggeri e fini, ma con una leggera pressione sulla punta, si ottiene il suo fantastico effetto. Chi ha provato il sumi-e classico ovviamente non troverà lo stesso effetto (specialmente quello meditativo), ma per ottenere degli effetti al tratto molto particolari è spettacolare.Consiglio vivamente di acquistare contemporaneamente alcune ricariche. Non consuma molto inchiostro, ma se fate del disegno il vostro lavoro, possono servire.

Ricevuta in anticipo rispetto alla data di consegna prevista. L'astuccio della penna non è di qualità eccelsa data la plastica sottile ma la funzionalità della penna in sè è molto buona. Manegevole e pratica per la sua leggerezza, il tratto è preciso e l'inchiostro coprente, è ricaricabile e nella confezione c'è una boccetta di inchiostro inclusa. Dato il prezzo la consiglio

Ottimo prodotto, arrivato in perfetto stato, impacchettato benissimo e persino in netto anticipo sulla data prevista.La punta è ben tenuta e morbida, l'inchiostro nero è coprente e dosato perfettamente senza eccedere, l'ho utilizzato per diversi disegni e calligrafie e sembra durare molto, a differenza di altri prodotti similari che si sono "scaricati" subito.Consigliatissimo! Perfetto per calligrafie, schizzi veloci o anche per campiture piene.Piccola nota aggiuntiva: il messaggio di cortesia del fornitore all'interno del pacco è stata cosa molto gradita. :)

What a great brush! -The line control is excellent, from eyelash thin to rich, thick lines. For cartoon/manga inking, this is just an excellent brush. -The Pentell brushpen has been my mainstay, and while it has served me well over the years, this shorter bristle brush allows for more control.The pen body itself very long and very.., empty. I found that you can actually store a whole second fresh ink cartridge in the pen body if you want. (It will rattle around a little, which might annoy, but.., how many pens allow space for back-up ink? None. The answer is None.)In my case, however, I used a small wood saw and cut an inch and a bit from the tail end of the pen in order to make it fit in my pencil case with all the other standard-sized pens and mechanical pencils. This in no way affects its use at the business end.All in all, a very nice pen. The ink cartridges, it should be noted, are quite small and will need to be replaced regularly. I've ordered some bulk ink and I have an artist's syringe, so hopefully that will pan out okay. :)
