Die Abtropfhilfe hat sich in kürzester Zeit zu einem viel genutzten Küchenutensil gemausert. Die Qualität ist sehr gut, keine scharfen Kanten, gereinigt wird es in der Spülmaschine.

At last a stainless steel strainer that is big enough for pans up to 24cm and easy to hold when the pan is full of water and very heavy. I had the semi moon kind before and these are really hard to hold in place while you lift the pan. The Kuchenprofi's 'ears' fit over the handles of your pan and so you can hold both easily while you drain the food. And it is as sturdy as one might expect from a German product (I know, it's a stereotype but true in this case!).

This works great! My son is in a studio apartment at college and has limited space. Both his kitchen sink is small, and his cabinet space limited in storing excess kitchen gadgets, so this strainer sieve was perfect for being a space- saving gadget AND working perfectly! Very well made, and I am ordering one now for my own household. Even though I have plenty of kitchen storage space and two colanders, I want this for my kitchen because this sieve allows for expert straining super fast and you can empty the water out over the sink without having to worry about where to place a colander and if the sink is clean, and whether the small side of the sink will allow you to balance a colander without losing your pasta if it tips over. Problems solved. Oh, and btw, it fitted over all four different- sized pots that I tried it with!

I use this to strain food such as pasta and boiled potatoes. It does the job well, easy clean-up, easy storage, and fits all my normal size pans. Makes it easy to continue cooking in the same pot. I'll give it 5 stars once I've had it a little longer if it holds up well.
