Bought two of these for my immersive chain waxing commuter experiment. Did not find a chain matching the "gray" description on manufacturer's (EU) pages and the price seemed a bit low, but bought anyway.They seem to match my existing third Z8.3 OEM chain that came with my bicycle - that one has "2D" engraved on links, these have a "3K" instead. But the existing MissingLink does not appear to be compatible.The two new chains are both labeled as BZ08GG114 with a CL573R MissingLink, 114 links. The Amazon's Product Specifications, which at the time of writing still list the Item model number as C12GNR000, are wrong entirely.I removed the factory grease using three 200 ml white spirit baths, followed by two denatured alcohol baths, both along with vigorous shaking inside a sealed container. I waxed using the Silca Super Secret Blend wax in a slow cooker and everything turned out fine.I've been using the chains for a couple of months and did three re-waxes with them. The chain is more audible compared to drip oil lubricant, but that is to be expected. It performs beautifully - shifting is as smooth as I expected it to be.They are very prone to rusting after riding in wet conditions, especially with salt in the mix. Might not be the best choice for immersive waxing, but at that price, who cares (~7€ per piece).

Vorab: Es wurde trotz irreführender Beschreibung und Bildern die KMC Z8.3 8-fach Kette in grau geliefert. Ich bin großer Fan der KMC Z8.3 Kette. Sie ist günstig und kommt mit einem wiederverwendbaren Kettenschloss. Ich verwende dieses Kettenmodell seit vielen Jahren und weil sie so günstig ist, habe ich keinen Grund meine verschlissenen Ketten zu lang zu fahren und meine Kettenblätter/Kassetten zu verschleißen. Stattdessen tausche ich einfach rechtzeitig die Kette!
