Well made product but didn’t fit my mixer. I had to remove location stud from the old Kmix and fit to new kmix. It’s a shame they can’t supply new location stud the correct size.

Upgrading from a worn aluminium K beater that came with Kenwood Chef, I was happy to find this stainless steel version of the basic mixing tool for the classic kitchen aid.It wasn't plain sailing, the new K hook didn't fit the old, and at first glance the two mounting pins looked identical, but perhaps a bit like a newly cut key sticking in the lock of a door, this didn't fit.Not deterred and having a spanner set to hand I released the original threaded pin from the old K beater, which was stainless steel although the beater was not, and likewise removed the new one, swapped them over, they were the same thread, using the new locking nut, and all was well.Even though some assembly was required, and the K beater is not inexpensive, this is a worthwhile upgrade, and should give years of service going forward.
