This thing is pretty solid, Im impressed with just about every part of it.The main "Frame" is a thick piece of metal, theres no flex to it, its very sturdy.There are 4 magnets, they're all nicely covered in silicone so they dont mar your paint when taking on or off.The strength of the magnets is really good, stronger than it needs to be, but not soo strong that you cant take it off. See my picture below, the mount is still very sturdy with only 2x magnets attached.

Well, this is magnetism at its best, I placed this on my van with the expectation that it would stick well and with a little tug it would come off...well.... this thing sticks on like there's no tomorrow, seriously be careful when putting on because this clamps down hard and if your fingers are in the way, good luck.I love this and the plastic mount fits well into the starlink and I can leave it on knowing it ain't coming off any time soon.

Picked this up to go with our Starlink Mini setup for use on the van during road trips. I didn’t fancy drilling holes into the roof, and I wanted something quick to attach and remove when we're hopping from campsite to layby—and this magnetic roof mount has been bang on.The aluminium alloy build feels proper heavy-duty—solid, weather-resistant, and clearly made to handle movement, rain, and the odd tree branch brushing past. The magnets are seriously strong—it clings to the roof like it’s welded on. Even after a windy drive up the coast, it hadn’t budged a millimetre. The included pipe adapter connects perfectly to the Starlink Mini hardware, and setup was smooth with no head-scratching required.It’s compact enough to pack away easily when not in use, and we've used it on both the van and the boat with no issue.
