Some pieces are quite challenging - not first year material as another reviewer has posted. My wife and I have been really enjoying using this series of trumpet/trombone duet books. There is a surprising shortage of quality books for B flat trumpet and bass clef trombone (as used in a symphony orchestra but NOT a brass band).

They're just awful. Boring, far too remedial to be called 'intermediate.'

My son and daughter play these together, they enjoy them as they both get to play the tune.
