Perfect for what we wanted and certainly big enough. We used it as a shelter for a whole day at Thruxton race circuit, in case it was raining. It never rained but was in the high 20s. Perfect as a sun shelter, and we could fit the double seat inside too. My only problem with this shelter is the bag. It is too flimsy, and on the way back to the car, the strap parted at the stitch. We now have no carry strap. Can we buy a better bag?

This is a sturdy tent - much better than the ridiculous circular pop-up tents that bend over in the slightest breeze. The plastic pegs are sufficient for grass and sand, but a bit of a struggle on a pebble beach. For the latter you have the option of filling the pockets with pebbles or rocks. The pockets can be opened completely to empty them out - handy if they’re filled with sand. But in a stiff breeze on a pebble beach (standard British holiday), the tent has to be weighed down to prevent it from turning into an expensive kite.Care needs to be taken when taking the tent down and packing it away - fold the legs and pack them into the main stem in order, one after the other, and you’ll be fine. Rushing disassembly, whether it’s due to the inevitable downpour, or the fear of being *that* guy on the beach wrestling with a tent for 20 minutes, can lead to the legs becoming twisted into the fabric.That aside, the only quality issue was the bag. On first use, the carrying handle ripped away from the bag, leaving a hole in the bag and no attached handle. Presumably the 12-month warranty covers the bag too?Overall a good purchase, even if we paid over £100 and a few weeks later it’s on sale for £85…

This is a really good beach tent, sturdy, spacious and well made. It has large extension to the floor for sitting outside but which can be zipped up for privacy inside. Useful pockets for small valuables like keys, glasses, etc. Very stable and no problems when erecting and using on a very windy day. Simple to erect and take down BUT you have to be strong enough. Getting the centre hub to engage is quite an effort and made harder by the awkward position. Other down side is that it is impossible to fix the curtains tight enough to stop them flapping (if windy) and to exclude the light. Some extra velcro pads would solve it. So not perfect but very good.

Absolutely love this tent. Best purchase ever! It fitted our 3 pop up chairs inside, our photos were taken just as we were putting it all up. The tent is easy even for a woman, as you do not need much strength to pull up the strings on the top first before assembling all the legs in place. Once you have understood how to do it by the instructions given on the inside tag of the bag, I normally can have the tent set up in around 10 mins. Its brilliant on a windy beach, away inside from all the elements. Our photos were taken yesterday where it was quite windy, but we were so warm and sheltered inside our tent on the beach. So easy to put away too and get it back in the bag, which I was worried about! Spacious tent though, with a few storage flaps inside. Plus window covers that can just be rolled up or left down/toggled down if you prefer. It also comes with a hook at the top of the tent where you could possibly hang a small light. It comes with tent pegs, guide ropes, and even a fold-out-flap on the back in the outside of the tent so that you can fill it with pebbles/beach stones to further hold the tent down! We placed a few pebbles on the door flap that acts as a front floor covering, with beach stones too, just to keep it from blowing around more. Perfect family size, fits 3 + dog easily, great value for money.
