I ordered this for the start of the school year to replace my son's old train lunch box, which he loved, but is a little more on the childish looking side. He already has autism and ADHD so heaven knows he has enough to potentially get teased about at school that I didn't want his lunch box to be one more thing! He really likes his new lunch box and so do I (and so, especially does it surfer/skater father)! First of all the construction is SUPER high quality which I expected for the price. The zippers don't get stuck, the fabric is tough and durable, as is the stitching. I love that the interior bottom is hard plastic, making it easy to wipe clean. The lid has a mesh pouch perfect for storing a flat ice pack or in our case, a drink pouch. We use this in conjunction with a Bentgo box that has the freeze tray included. As you can see from the pictures, the bentgo fits in this bag with plenty of room to spare, which is where I will pack things that don't need to remain cold like the things in the box do. The exterior has an additional zip pocket as well. The silicone handle is a nice touch and also feels very high quality and durable. The whole thing fits very nicely inside his small backpack along with a full change of clothes and his other essentials. Yes, this is one of the more expensive kids lunch boxes you'll find, but I feel like we really got what we paid for with this one in addition to the name brand. Take that for what it's worth!I can definitely recommend this lunch bag as one that will last a long time if you're willing to spend the money. And yes, I paid full price for it!
