I am using this to connect a Panasonic Lumix S5IIX to an external large-capacity battery, and it funcitons pretty much exactly like an OEM battery would, which is about the highest praise you can give such a unit.I am using a multi-port V-mount battery powering my entire video rig, and the integrated D-Tap port is already occupied by my field monitor/recorder, so the standard barrel connector used on the 8V port was a convenient alternative. No complaints about the connector, which fits snugly and has never come loose during recording sessions.

Questo ovviamente significa dover avere a che fare con un altro prodotto da trasportare e questo mi porta a considerare che una batteria del genere è più utile in studio per lavori lenti e lunghi con la macchina fotografica montata su cavalletto. In quel caso non si avrebbe il problema del peso e si potrebbe lavorare ad oltranza se si avesse un powerbank piuttosto capiente.L'unico limite che realmente trovo seccante è che lo sportello della macchina fotografica rimane aperto e quindi montarla sul cavalletto diventa impossibile a meno di non trovare un modo di staccarlo del tutto o di utilizzare una piastra più corta e piccola che non impedisca la chiusura e apertura senza difficoltà.Consigliato.

I have read some reviews of people that say it feels cheap. It's a blank battery. It's not going to feel as solid, or have the same weight that an actual battery will feel. So yes, it does feel like an empty piece of plastic, which is exactly what it is and supposed to be.On the other end of the cable, I do find that the dtap connection is a LITTLE loose fitting. I would like for that to feel tight an snug, but it doesn't feel like it will just fall out on its own or anything, so it's fine.

It is nice to have portable power for really long shoots. I have found that D-tap batteries work very well for long shoots,, so I bought this adapter. I plug the dummy battery into the camera and then into the battery. I can now shoot for hours or all day.

I already have an adapter like this, but it is not coiled like this one is. This one fits perfectly, just like my other one does. Obviously these are very lightweight, because they are not actual batteries, so don't let the weight fool you. This one works perfectly fine, so I would recommend it if you have a compatible camera!
