I was not sure if I was going to like this Guzzini Dolcevita cake stand with dome lid being that they are made of plastic (I would have preferred glass). But since I own another one of the brand’s items (their Everyday mugs) and they are gorgeous and unique. I thought that this brand seems to have the corner on making wonderful products, so I would try this cake stand. I used them to serve fresh hot cinnamon rolls that I made.Although, I did not like the cake stand as much as the mugs. It is still a lovely piece.Also, I think that I like the cake stand more by itself without the dome. That is because without the dome, the turquoise ridges of the cake stand against the clear base looks quite nice and it looks prettier and more artistic. (Also, it is important to note that the cake stand is sturdy, strong, and does not wobble.)But even though I prefer the cake stand alone. I still found that the dome was still very handy in keeping the cinnamon rolls that I made fresh until they were ready to be served.Finally, in addition to the cake stands beauty and the domes function. I appreciate that both pieces are scratch resistant, made with BPA plastic, and are lucid, and clean easily.

Once I saw it I knew I needed it. I use to place my sweet bread in the center of my kitchen island. Lets just say it makes my sweet bread go by before it gets ugly. I love it. Great quality, size, and the color scheme goes great with the fresh look clean kitchen. The plus side is that's its plastic so its toddler friendly. So glad I got it!!!
