Nowhere in the description did it say refurbished. But the unit arrived shrink wrapped with no box or instructions. It had a few scratches on the front and the power cord was bent from being rolled up improperly. Unit works fine but I feel the condition was misleading

It's a basic SIP phone that has good sound quality and was pretty easy to configure with my VoIP provider.
