This GemeShou earring display is nice for photographing smaller stud earrings and dangles. There's only 1 1/8" of space between the holes so it's great for getting both earrings in one close shot. Large, chunky stud earrings will wind up overlapping each other a little. I do wish the holes were just slightly lower so more of the padding would show up at the top of photos and make it a cleaner shot.The padding is attached to a gold-toned metal base and the metal feels really sturdy. I can't bend it with my hands.I like how it's angled but not high enough that earrings without backings will fall out.I'm mostly satisfied with this earring display. It works for my photo needs.

This stand is very sturdy. I got the gold-colored base with the black velvet top, and it is a thick, molded aluminum piece with a nicely padded velvet fabric cover on the top side. It really shows earrings well, but is best for use with small studs or earrings that hang flat and dangle down. When I tried some large flower studs on the stand, they looked very off center and jutted out over the top of the stand. For this reason, I wish the stand were a little larger and that the holes were more centered.The holes were easy to find and use, but the velvet padding is so thick that you really had to push the backs onto the posts on the other side of the stand. The stand will hold the earrings up nicely without the backs on, so if you're just taking pictures, you can save time by leaving the backs off while you take pictures of the front.The stand does look nice and professional in photos, and I like the sturdiness of it. Deducted a star because it's not versatile for all shapes and sizes of earrings.
