I am using these snap clasps as a replacement for very cheap, poorly designed carabiners, the type that just have a notch cut in the gate that is both sharp and ill-fitting, with a wire pin hinge joint. They're just awful things and because I didn't need a high load rating or a swivel, this set of snap clasps work just fine.Their action is slightly rough but felt fine with a small drop of oil. They close reliably and open fully. I haven't had them in use long enough to comment on the durability of the finish, but I assume it will be fine. They are an appropriate length for what I need (anchoring a seat strap) and should do the trick. A great price for what seem to be good-quality snap clasps.

I use these to attach cuffs to my bed, as the ones you get normally are just too weak and break easily which is no fun! These allow me to struggle all I want whilst still not being able to escape

Good smooth action, look nice and work well. I would say they keep me in my place, but then you'd wonder what on earth we're up to.
