As a guitar player, I can never have enough guitar equipment to try out, so when I saw this pedalboard effects unit, I decided to give it a try. I like it. It has a lot of multi effects built in, and even cabinet simulation, which makes it fairly useful. The effects are easy to dial in to get the effect I want, and they sound fairly good as well. I feel like this is a great way for someone who needs a bunch of effects to get them all in once place. Once I read the instructions and figured out how to use it, it was fairly easy to use, but it can be a little cumbersome to dial in due to the limited screen available. It's not terrible to dial in the parameters and then save your settings, but it could be easier. Overall, I think it sounds good, is built well, and should stand up to playing it live on stage.

This Flamma multi-effect pedal does a LOT of sounds, and does them really well - but - it is not really great for clean sounds.I've been playing with it for several weeks because I really wanted to evaluate it well. For dirty or distortion sounds, it's AMAZING. I can get that dirty/bluesy type sound all the way into shredder/metal distortion and just about everything in between. There's a lot of other effects that can be added like delay, reverb, etc., which I do tend to use a fair amount also.It can be a bit frustrating trying to figure out which amp/cabinet is best. That takes a LOT of messing around to get the right combo, but if again, dirty/distortion, you won't have much trouble. I DID take a lot of time trying to find good clean sounds, it it always sounds a bit "thin" like the signal is being choked somehow. That's unfortunate for the clean sounds. The drum machine that can be accessed is "okay." It's good for playing along to something for timing. And setting the tempo is easy enough. I haven't had an issue running out of battery, though I do tend to keep things like this charged fairly frequently to keep batteries in good shape.Overall - as long as you're not looking for "clean only" type sounds, you'll likely find this quite useful on the pedal board, or as it's own stand-alone.

I'm not a professional musician so for my hobbyist purposes this unit produces good, customizable tones in a compact, durable, reasonably priced package. The pre-sets are good to just plug-and-play although I found it much more useful to use the individual effects in manual model when played through my 30 year-old Crate 30w combo amp.I found that it functions better on battery as there is a slight (barely noticeable) hiss when used with a 120v adapter.Functionality is similar to other multi-function pedals I've experimented with in the past. I found the switches a little confusing at first, but I'm still not great at coordinating my feet while playing (regardless of the pedal), so if you're experienced using a pedalboard with a bunch of effects, this is probably going to be no more challenging for you than what you are already used to.All in all, however, it's a solid unit and a decent value that gives you a lot of flexibility without taking up much space. It would be great for beginners who don't yet know what they want and could use it as a springboard into more specific effects pedals once they have an idea for how the effects work and sound.
