The set covers both snorkelling depth and scuba depth as well as fresh and salt water correction. Yes, all this can be achieved by post-processing software if you have it, but filtering at source saves both time and expense. The filters appear to be well made and a perfect fit for the FitSTILL housing. Each filter comes with its own tether, which can be attached to the housing to prevent accidental loss (the filters do not float).
