I love Fire Emblem games and this one is no exception! Engage has a great story, awesome characters and fantastic gameplay!

I tried to get into Fire Emblem with Three Houses but I quickly lost interest and wrote this series off as the game for me was more of a visual novel dating sim than a SRPG and I was bored to tears playing three houses.However I heard this game is more focused on gameplay and isn't a visual novel dating sim so I thought I'd check it out.The first couple of chapters made me fall in love with this game I haven't been able to put it down since.I hear a lot of people complain that the story is bad in Engage (its not) but a common trend you'll notice is "engages story is bad, play three houses" what people fail to realise is this game isn't trying to be TH and I think the reason people say the story is bad is because they go in expecting Three Houses 2 but this isn't that it's a classic SRPG with a focus on the gameplay with the story been a backdrop for the gameplay and I prefer that honestly.If all your looking for is a story to sink your teeth into then Three Houses is better but if you want to actually play a game Engage is the better choice simple as.The thing is Engage is all about combat and the story is simple enough to give you a reason for why you're fighting.It's not deep or edgy its a light hearted tale that keeps your intrest enough and doesn't overstay its welcome and that's all it needs.I really love everything from Engages gameplay to its story and I'm so glad I could find a Fire Emblem game that I could enjoy.This is genuinely one of my top 10 favourite Switch games I would even put it in my top 100 games of all time list honestly its just that good 👍

È stato il mio primo fire emblem, ci sono tanti personaggi e ci sono molte interazioni tra loro, la storia non mi ha appassionato molto ma le diverse animazioni di combattimento hanno reso il loop di gioco molto digeribile

For all the reviews complaining about overleveling and it not being challenging, play the game on Maddening difficulty, it gives an extremely interesting and rewarding experience, where everything you do has to count.The triangle weapon system is back which works really great in this game, and can stop units from countering for the rest of your turn allowing more strategic play.I personally loved the character designs, everyone looks great and you will definitely have your favourites.The story is average, but I've never thought Fire Emblem storylines where their strong piont. I personally enjoyed Awakening story the most.
