Well .,,yeah...it broke....🤦🏽♀️😢🤷🏻♀️😜🥂Yeah well this here’s a mighty fine scrolling jigsaw blade... yes I had one break apart because I was tryin em out on my brand spankin new Festool PSC 420 EB Barrel Grip Cordless Carvex JigSaw .... which I have to say is a friggin AWEeeeeeeSome piece of Aliens-style machinery ...!!!!!!!!!....but that’s for another review I gather.👹😈🤠👽❤️💚💙🖤Listen Festool offers such a wide selection of blades that it can get confusing I know. But if you take the time to read Festool’s docs on em AND take yer Carvex or any other JigSaw yer using them with for a few good hours of test runs, Blade after blade, you’ll really start to understand why there are so many kinds. And you’ll be happy you have em ,and’ll be that much better equipped to take on whatever wood working task you might have at the time.So back to this scrolling one...like I said I wasn’t that experienced yet with ol Harvey Carvey over there, and even though it’s a ......yes:friggin Awesome Aliens -Style piece of Out of this world Machinery!!!!😜👍🏿😎🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you still gotta learn all its different nooks n crannies to really drive it to its full potential. Or yeah you might break a blade. Now since these scrolling blades are actually the thinnest Festool makes I think, it heated up a mite too much and after some heavy duty cutting ...snapped off.But it’s low thickness and really sharp teeth, also the fact that they are pretty tightly spaced, make for two very critical factors when you are scroll sawing or cutting tight curves:1) You can turn reallly tight angles with this thing and as long as you slow down and know how to use that saw, these make it a darn joy to do that and they don’t break.2) You’re gonna be getting a very smooth glossy finish with this blade .So you will rarely need to do any sanding , which on certain curves and edges can get to be a challenge at times. And no splinters.Especially if you are using the splinter guard .The only beef I had was that because of its thin gauge I noticed that on some curves the blade seems to angle out a bit...I ended up getting an angled cut in some areas ,stead of a totally straight perpendicular one, but I know for sure that that was a user error that I can correct, again, by understanding the machine and it’s tools, so I guess it’s just something to watch out for.And as most of Festool’s other blades are actually extra thick, I don’t think you’ll be gettin that “effect” with any of em.I wrote another review on those Festool Japanese style blades I think or maybe the5 -type variety pack, back then I was using it on a Bosch JigSaw, then a little bit with a DeWalt FlexVolt DCS334, and promised to update once I tried em all out....and now that I have that Oh so sweet Carvex , I hope I get to do that post haste. So ...I heartily recommend this blade for scrolling duties, and suggest you pick up a few of the other style Festool Blades while you’re at it .They are simply THE best JigSaw blades available on the market today , like the rest of Festool’s products, and, unlike most of their other products, they’re not that pricey, so it’s worth it even if you own a non-Festool JigSaw .... you’ll be upgrading yer game for sure.Thank you once again Festool!!!!Keep em coming!!!💚💙🖤🐉🦋🕷🌲💧🌑🔋🧩🔌🙏🏼🌕🌹❤️😎😘🐚✨❄️🌹🌕❤️
