I had this setup to use on my MacBook in just a couple of minutes. And in Wavelab Cast in only a couple of minutes more.What I like:~ The cantilever arm arrangement - it copes with the weight of the mic well, is easy to lock in place and stays where you put it. It's also got a MUCH better clamping system than the standard type. The contact surface with the top of the desk is much larger, and has a textured grip. The C-clamp underneath is much more sturdy than the usual type. This means the whole thing stays secure, rather than wobbling around or twisting.~ The flexibility - this has both XLR and USB connections. The USB is bi-directional, which mean that if you plug headphones into the audio out of the mic, you can monitor or listen to playback. I'll be using this via USB because it enables me to travel light - nwith just the laptop, the mic and a power bank I have a mobile recording facility.~ At this price point, it's amazing to find so many features - not long ago you would have paid double for a mic alone with only USB functionality. To get dual USB/XLR connection, a pop shield AND a pretty good cantilever mic stand at this price is amazing.~It looks to me as if the thread on the mic cradle is a standard mic stand thread, so if you wanted to you could probably use it with an ordinary mic stand.~ The cradle doesn't have a shock mount, but you don't need it with a dynamic mic like this.~ It seems to function pretty well; with podcasting [which is clearly what this is designed for, and what I will use it for, high fidelity sound is not the prime consideration, and this records cleanly without distortion or noticeable artefactsIt seems churlish to point out deficiencies at this price point, and to be honest there aren't any beyond what you'd expect for a budget device; centred around durability and [possibly] recorded sound quality.As to be expected at this price, a lot of plastic is used, so the mic itself would probably not stand heavy, on-the-road use, and neither would the plastic elements of the cantilever. But that kinda misses the point; this is a cheap and [very] cheerful all-in-one recording package and as such it's hard to fault. You wouldn't be using this for close mic-ing of, say, classical instruments; you'll be using it for voice and it does that job admirabl IMHO.

Amazing quality.Crispy Audio capture with the option to bring the volume up or down.You can speak from the side of the mic but it isn’t as clear so it’s better used directionally/pointing to your face.The rgb ring is not distracting and is a nice addition.The set up is also very easy and stable.

Il dispose aussi d’une connexion XLR, parfaite si vous avez une interface audio et que vous voulez un son plus pro. Cette double option est un vrai plus !🎙️ Qualité audio au rendez-vous :Le micro capte bien la voix, avec un bon niveau de clarté et très peu de bruit de fond. Pour du gaming, du podcast ou du streaming, c’est largement suffisant et même surprenant pour ce prix.🪛 Le bras perche fait le travail, mais...Il est inclus, ce qui est appréciable, mais il faut être honnête : ce n’est pas l’élément le plus solide du pack. Il tient le micro, mais on sent qu’il est un peu léger, et les fixations ne sont pas ultra robustes. Pour une utilisation basique, ça passe, mais pour du long terme, je pense à le remplacer.🎨 Design moderne et soigné :Très beau micro visuellement. Il a un look professionnel, élégant et sobre. Il rend très bien sur un bureau et dans un setup gaming.💰 Excellent rapport qualité-prix :Franchement, pour le prix, on a un micro de bonne qualité, polyvalent grâce à l’USB/XLR, livré avec son bras. This mic exceeded my expectations. I've been wanting a boom mic like this for a while, and decided this was a great opportunity. I've used it in all of my meetings and have never had issues with audio quality or functionality. It's super simple to use and doesn't require any driver or software installation--just plug and play! The integrated mute button, XLR and headphone ports, and volume knob are all great features. The mount is my least favorite component. While it works well, it doesn't feel super strong and isn't the easiest to adjust, but it does the job. This brand is a great alternative to the popular and expensive brand name podcasting microphones.
