This jacket, made in Bangladesh, weighs 18.35 ounces, a little more than a pound. It's a decent weight for a late spring / early fall windbreaker-like coat.It got down to 55 degrees recently, so I wore this outside for a while with just an undershirt beneath, but no shirt otherwise. There was no wind. It kept me comfortable, but I had the feeling just a degree or two cooler, or with a breeze, it would have felt too cool with just a t-shirt underneath. No problem, for most guys don't wear just an undershirt beneath a coat. Just suffice it to say that you'll be most comfortable wearing either a short-sleeved or better yet, long-sleeved, shirt with it.The parts are all assembled well, the snaps all work, the zipper could be a smidgeon smoother but it doesn't catch or misalign, so it's fine. I like the two sets of snaps at the end of each sleeve, so you can adjust the hand opening to your preference, unlike with a one-size-fits-all-type sleeve. Everything's well-proportioned. Used to be a model, so very standard here -- 5'11', 149#, 39" chest, 29" waist, and the Medium fits great, not too tight, not too loose, not too long, etc.As long as you realize this is more of a very nice windbreaker than an outright jacket, I think you'll like it. It's an okay value for the money.

This is fine for the money, it's well made, with nice enough materials and decent stitching.The sizing is perfect for me, even the arms fit, which is nice, as jackets always seem to long or too short on the arms for me.The style is classic and goes well with shorts or jeans, I prefer to wear it with cargo shorts, they match really nice.The only downside, but it's not a huge one is that it's a little thinner than I expected, so it's suited to spring to autumn only as it's not going to offer any winter protection, but then again, this is pretty much the idea.Over all, I really do like this, it's been getting plenty of use and it really is nice and comfortable.The main zip doesn't snag at all and the pockets are a good size.4 stars is about right for me.

I can wear it up to about a 68 degree temperature before needing to remove it. There are two sizes for the cuffs and buttons to hold the cuffs shut. The zipper and button qualities are fine, they're functional. I would have preferred the cuffs have a loop and Velcro straps for more infinite adjustment, but the two buttons are fine.The overall jacket quality seems like it fits the cost. However, the jacket is a little short for the size. I usually wear medium to large shirts and large to XL jackets. This jacket has the circumference of an XL jacket, there's plenty of room for me. But the length is more like a medium jacket. I will still wear this, but it isn't my favorite due to the short length. Another 2" would have made this a much better size for XL. I've noticed this trend in jackets and shirts over the last few years: they're focusing on circumference and not length. If something is XL, it should be longer and more round, not just rounder.
