In August 2022 I bought on Amazon the diving flashlight Willcrew DX60. For the first time I used it for our dive holiday in Egypt in November 2022.The first dives were great, the light is really bright and I was so glad to have bought that lamp. After every dive I properly rinsed the lamp in fresh water also turning the ring to remove any salt water and/or particles.A few dives later i struggled under water to turn the ring (rotary switch) to switch-on the lamp. sometimes it did work, sometimes the ring could not be moved at all. This was really frustrating, as the visibility was not very good and a bright lamp was needed.After the holiday I tried to simulate and put the lamp in (fresh) water and turned it on. The rotary switch however was not blocking at all and was working very fine.I then used the lamp for different purpose on land, as our next dive holiday was still far away. There it was working perfectly again and I was again very happy with all the results.Finally we went to our next dive vacation in December 2023 to Indonesia, to far away places like Raja Ampat. The lamp worked perfectly again during the first few dives (we totally did 38 dives). However, after maybe 5 dives, the ring blocked again and the lamp could not be turned on. The dive shop on the island could not help either. I tried to move the ring almost daily, but no chance to switch-on the lamp. Maybe a week later the ring somehow de-blocked and could be turned again, however, the light did not shine. I took the battery out to see if it was charged, but that was not the issue. When I put the battery back again and screwed the cover on, the lamp very briefly flashing but after was dark immediately again.Today's status is still the same. Unscrewing or closing the housing will result in a short flashing (few milliseconds) but then it is dark, also when turning the rotary switch.I tried to fix the issue by seeking help from Willcrew before I wrote this rating. I used Mail addresses on the box of the lamp, on a card that was in the box when supplied, etc. However, no response at all - not even after 3 reminders..The lamp is great when it works. But as this is not the case and no-one cares, that makes it far too expensive and not worthwhile. I am disappointed about the customer support.

Why is the flashlight black, which is almost invisible underwater. If lost, it is difficult to locate the black equipment on the seabed.I cover such equipment with colored insulating tape. The same applies to the lanyard for hanging on the hand.I hunt in rocky terrain. Each snagging of the flashlight in the rocks causes the risk of being trapped on the bottom and death. Instead of a rope by the flashlight, I use a piece of rubber from a car inner tube, which, if necessary, can be broken and free myself from a dangerous situation.
