My son plays guitar so picks are always a welcome gift during advent, I buy them for that purpose…always helps when they’re from one of his favorite guitarists! Like Kirk…he liked the weight and feel of these, pulse the color makes them easy to spot when he’s running out the door to go to guitar lessons.Nice product, thought I wish the pacakaging were not a plastic baggie on a hanging card. I prefer the ones in the metal boxes, I don’t mind paying more for that.

I’ve tried many different picks and primarily use a standard Jazz III. These feel smaller than any other pick I’ve tried. These are slightly smaller than a standard Jazz III due to the top cut out. Kirk Hammett said this was to improve his grip, but I find this makes them slightly harder to maintain my grip when playing quickly because they feel even smaller.When playing quickly or when doing lots of downpicking, the smaller size causes the back of my index finger to very slightly rub on the strings at times. This can happen with any smaller pick, and it definitely depends on your grip and technique, but this is the only pick that this happens very frequently for me.I want to mention that these picks are not uncomfortable at all, and in my opinion, are some of the best looking picks you can buy. They are very high quality and the heart shape and sparkle design looks great, I just find them a little too small for my liking.
