Looks pretty real, adds a nice "live" look to the patio where the sun beats down and kills real plants!

This artificial tree looks great and feels very sturdy. Putting it together was pretty easy, but I had to figure a couple of things out on my own. First, there are light green rubber pieces covering the male connectors on the branches. Those need to come off in order to assemble. The base is very sturdy and not very flexible, so I had to use a little bit of force to push out two of the sides for the pot to slip in to the base. Once the pot is in, it's in good. The kit came with a bag of black river rocks. I used some of them as weight in the bottom, and the rest I used to cover the top of the pot. Once I had all of the pieces connected, I shaped the leaves by placing one hand on the underside, and ran it along the metal wire that goes down the middle of the leaf, in a curving downward motion. This really helped with the overall presentation of it, and it looks a lot more balanced after doing it. The height is described accurately. I plan to place this on my front patio. I love that it is maintenance free!

The pot was warped, which made it difficult to put together. I had to take a screwdriver to pry it wider while putting the base in, but eventually got it in. You'll need to take the time to shape each leaf; otherwise, they stick straight out (picture). The height/measurements seem to be what the description indicates. From a distance, it looks good, but close up, it's definitely a faux plant. The base is pretty heavy, which helps ensure it doesn't fall over.

Looks great in our living room. We have a corner that doesn’t get enough light for a real plant but we needed something taller in the corner to finish off the area. This plant does the trick.It was fairly easy to put together. The only issue I had was the pot had concave on the sides a little bit from being in the box. So putting the top on it was a bit of a challenge. The rest of the plant was very easy to put together. It has a very sturdy base. The leaves and branches are easy to bend and tweak to position them correctly. The added rock on the top of the pot I feel is a nice touch.

You should be prepared for this thing to fill out the space you put it in almost to the same extent a Christmas tree would. It looks quite a lot like the product photos, and was mostly easy to work with. So why 4 stars? Mostly it's a handful of nitpicks, but they do add up in my opinion (albeit not to a deal-breaking degree). Some of the leaves have deep creases which are going to take ages to fall out. The branches on mine lean left in a mildly noticeable way. While it's not hard to put together, the parts list does not match the stickers when it comes to the actual branches. And the base isn't weighted at its bottom (just the rocks on the top), so this would topple fairly easily to a bump from a pet, kid, or klutz. Still, it is one of the better-looking fake plants I've tried. So I'd recommend it to those who are prepared for its drawbacks.
