This is my second hammock, my first DD hammock. I have a friend with a DD scout who kept parping on about how good it was but given how basic it looked I wasn't interested, when I was browsing for an upgrade this caught my eye however.So comparing this to the generic cheap hammock with a bug net I already had, these were my requirements and findings.Tired of sleeping with the hammock or the net trying to cover my face I was hugely impressed with the performance of the spreader bars and shock cord tie ups, you can also attach the net to a ridge line as I have rather than the included cord, with it up there's enough space for me to sit up in the middle of the hammock without touching the net.I thought the material on my old hammock was good quality but this has not one but two higher quality layers, between which you can put insulation (If you prefer that to an underblanket) or yourself (Not sure why exactly). It comes with some sturdy webbing that relies on knots, I elected to buy the whoopie sling and tree hugger suspension system which when combined with the hammock sleeve, makes setup easy and fast with infinite and super easy adjustment.I thought about modifying my old hammock with extra pockets and tie points but then I found this hammock which is masterfully designed by people who actually use these things. There are 2 pockets either end of the hammock well out of the way of my head that are big enough for water bottles, phones, even kindles or tablets and battery banks. at the top of the net are a couple more loops to hang gear from by string or carabiner, a perfect spot for your head torch or lantern. On the outside are two loops either side which are designed perfectly to attach to underblankets to keep them in the right place, they are also plenty sturdy enough for you to tie guy lines if you want to form the hammock further.This is a hammock with great features, an awesome array of accessories as well as opportunities to modify and make your own. I'm so pleased with this hammock and the brand and will recommend as a perfect cost/performance hammock.

teste pour la premiere fois pour un bivouac sur les bords de marne. la taille est parfaite surtout pour les grands comme moi.la moustiquaire est tres utile et pratique. le poids et le volume plie est parfait et surtout il est incontestablement tres confortable. j'ai meme eu du mal a vouloir en sortir tellement je me sentait bien dedans. a combiner avec un tarp de la meme marque en cas de pluie. tres belle qualite.

This is a quality piece of kit. I've since bought the 3 x 3 Tarp directly from DD Hammocks in Edinburgh. I've also bought one for my son who after trying mine reported, "It's the best lie down I've ever had!". So the DD Winter Warmer Bundle is winging its way to him for his birthday on the 10th of Jan. If you want to try Hammock Camping you'll be hard pushed to beat the quailty and price of the DD kit.

è una amaca ben fatta doppie cuciture e veramente robusta e completa di tutto webbing compreso due stecche in carbonio per la zanzariere, la zanzariere ha due cerniere entrambi i lati per facilitare l'uscita e inoltre ha un doppio fondo con chiusura a velcro x metterci un materasso isolante per i periodi invernali .i materiali usati sono eccellenti prodotto al top, niente roba cinese .prodotto eccellente consigliatissimo
