This is an excellent instructional book that can be used with YouTube for example to learn the cello pieces from the 40 etudes. They are marked well.

Excellent book, but could be difficult for some

my hands hurt

This is a very nice book with etudes that will help any advanced cellist. The etudes are definitely not easy but they are crucial for overall improvement of cello technique.

This is a great book for learning intonation, fingers, hand position and even more. Because many of etudes are challenging, don't be deceived that the title says High School of playing the cello. It really is for college students as well. But none the less, I love it as well.
