This rod is strong and versatile and easy to set up. I did experience when I went to dismantle the rod, it was difficult to remove the handle to the 1st section of the rod, we washed the rod down with fresh water every day we fished 3 days, it took 2 of us to twist where the guides were to remove that section. Can weuse any type of lubrication that won't do damage to the joints? I was hesitant to use the guides to get enough leverage to twist, but it finally came apart

Very light but heavy duty; brought it to Florida keys and fished on the bridges; it had no problems to handle any fishes it encountered.

The price is really good and the rod feels good quality, the rings are large and look very sturdy. I'm looking forward to use it more. The travel sizes is very handy, doesn't take much space.

Don't buy this rod, it's not strong enough. It breaks very easily.
