The eyeglass case is just as advertised…good quality and it looks two tone color in the pictures but it’s all the same color and it’s more of a burnt orange hue tone than a leather tan color. Not a hard case and will crush your glasses if you sit on them but will protect from scratches in your purse or car. Not lined in the inside. I like that it’s a bit longer than others so my glasses slide in nicely. Not for big eyeglass frames. I will keep it and dye it brown or black. I gave it 4 stars because of the color.

I looked for a sturdy case to carry in a small purse. I found it and it fits my need. Got the tan case so it shows up on dark car seats and purses. At least I can wear my sunglasses up to a door and still have my regular pair right with me. The snap is separated by another leather piece. Little pressure to secure glasses.Love it!

I've been wearing prescription reading glasses for just under a year now. I have a cute, carved wooden owl eyeglass holder that I keep the glasses on when I'm not wearing them. But I've developed a bad, stupid and quite honestly, inexcusable habit of simply putting them in my purse unprotected if I'm leaving home and taking them along. When I stop to think about how I handle my purse: plop it on the floor of the car prior to driving, stick it in the shopping cart with kind of a light toss while trying to sanitize the cart handle for COVID at the same time, lay the purse on a table or kitchen counter when I get home, have the kids carry it for me, etc. its nothing short of a miracle that I haven't damaged the glasses in any way. My days of being careless are over thanks to BRASS TACKS. As soon as I saw their line of leather eyeglass cases, I immediately ordered myself the red case. I very much liked what I saw in the photos on the Amazon page but in all honesty, the photos really don't do this eyeglass case justice. Its even better in person. Its SO very well made! The stitching is precise and even. The leather is indeed soft (and smooth!), however it still provides ample protection and cushioning for my glasses. They fit VERY well, with more than enough room . And I absolutely love that the snap isn't a snap that you must press down on to close. Its a magnetic snap and when both parts come together, there's a small 'click' and the glasses are then safe and sound and secure in the eyeglass holder! The case fits beautifully in my purse and doesn't take up much room at all. Without a doubt, BRASS TACKS leather eyeglass case is definitely worthy of gift giving (its packaged in a nice box!) and it comes in 8 colors. I'm SO happy with my eyeglass case. I do love it. Its better than I expected and I absolutely recommend it! ( My cell camera isn't the greatest and I used the flash because I wanted to make sure the detailing of the case showed in my photos...in some of the photos, the case looks to be a bright red color. Its not really that bright. The actual red shade is closer to the photos above next to all of the information. )
