I use this tea mug every day. It easily holds any type of loose leaf tea, and the lid keeps the water hot while the tea is steeping. It is easy to hold and is quite elegant. The tea basket can also be used in other cups if wanted. I love this tea mug so much I gave one to a friend, who also loves it. I am a big tea drinker, and this is my favorite tea steeping option by far. Also, you can get replacement lids if you happen to break yours, which is convenient. It washes well in the dishwasher. I cannot say enough good things about this tea mug. I love it!

This is one of my new favorites. I recently started Brewing more loose leaf and breaking the Teabag habit. Delicious ...and haven't needed to add any sugar or anything, but preferences will vary ...like dairy. Good leaf will get 2-3 infusions easily. According to a chart I have, about 2-3grams or 2 teaspoons of leaf approximately for about 15-16oz's of water. Brewing times and temperature depends on the tea. Green Teas (165-170degrees), White, Yellow and small leaf Black teas (175-185 degrees), Boiling or near boiling for the rest(Oolong, large leaf Black, and Pu Ehr).

I bought this for Christmas for an avid tea drinker. I'd witnessed them placing saucer plates over their regular coffee cups to allow their tea to steap and thought there had to be a better way. After much research, I came across this cup. It's honestly fantastic. It's a large cup, it comes with a lid which was obv my main requirement, and it came with a strainer. When I gave the gift, the recipient flipped and explained they use tea bags daily but that they'd received tea as a gift that required straining but had no way to do so easily until this cup. To my understanding, not a day goes by where this cup isn't used. Great buy, decent price (in comparison). My only negative points are that differnt colors take different lengths of time to get to you, which ended up sucking because the cups in black and blue I originally wanted would not have gotten to me until a week after they were needed. I went with gray as they could get to me within a week. It also sucks that different colors cost different prices; a $5 range if I'm not mistaken.

This is a perfect tea cup. The infuser is fine enough that rooibos tea only leaves a bit of dust behind. And I can gently lower it in with other more delicate leaves. The handle is smooth and sturdy. Indeed the whole cup is top of the line. I steep my oolong tea 4 times and it is very easy to tap the last drop out into the tea cup and then rest the infuser in the lid.I wish I had gotten a 2nd infuser because I like to switch up my tea's during the day. I will next time.The top doesn't fit tightly for those that find that important.
