Herkömmliche Löffel haben das Problem, dass sie zu kurz sind, wenn man Unterwegs ist und Trekkingnahrung isst. Dann hat man entweder den Löffel nur am äußersten Ende oder Essen an den Händen. Mit diesem Löffel funktioniert das Auslöffeln des Beutels problemlos.

Spoon is good. Was much easier to stir foods cooking on a canister stove. I thought I was getting a good deal on amazon so I waited weeks for it to ship, but then found out that it was cheaper in local camping stores.

I've used assorted cutlery sets, and the light my fire sporks for backpacking primarily, but I wanted something that a) weighed much less than the steel travel cutlery sets I've tried and b) had a much longer handle than the XL lmf spork so I could eat out of freezer bags and avoid back country dishwashing. I didn't want to spend the kind of money to pick up a titanium option. This is a win on all counts. The length means it doesn't nest in my cook kit like the LMF sporks or cutlery sets would, but the carabiner lets me attach it to the outside of my pack, slid under the compression straps to prevent swinging while I walk. So far, I find it lightweight, sturdy, and long enough to get to the bottom of a quart size freezer bag without getting my fingers dirty (or contaminating my food with dirty trail hands). Very happy with this product and the price point.
