I bought this to use with a Behringer X32 so I could turn the reverb on and off.Works a treat once programmed.

What a giant load of crap. I bought this to change snapshots for my HX Stomp. At first everything seemed fine and the programming was easy but the pedal will randomly switch itself from CC mode to Patch Change mode. Maybe I got a dud, but as a professional gigging musician I cannot take any chances.

I use Windows but I assume similar performance with Mac.The physical construction feels solid with a sturdy case and smooth switches. Unfortunately, the power input uses reverse polarity as compared to every other music-related pedal I have ever used. A short adapter cable is provided with the unit to allow connection to a typical pedal power supply. A separate USB-to-barrel plug cable is also provided to (presumably) allow powering the device from a USB power source. No info on either of these cables was provided with the unit—-I had to figure this out on my own. Some features described in the listing got a bit “lost in translation.” I wanted a pedal that could send multiple MIDI messages with a single button press, and send different messages when the button was released. This would toggle multiple features (such as sustain) on and off via a single button press/release. The listing mentions 16 messages per pedal, so I expected each button to be capable of 16 on/off messages. But what “messages” means on this unit is what I would call “banks.” Each button can handle only one MIDI message, with the entire box having 16 banks of messages. The current bank is selected by pressing two buttons on the pedal; press buttons 1 and 2 to move to a lower bank, press 2 and 3 for a higher bank. (I don’t think this was mentioned in the user manual). The current bank number is indicated with a tiny number on the display. It would be more useful for the current bank to fill the entire display, but that’s not an option.Unlike most of the MIDI gadgets that I have, connecting the device to USB on a computer doesn’t result in a new MIDI device in Windows. A separate virtual com driver must be installed in Windows in order for the device to be seen as a MIDI input. A variety of drivers is provided on a website, all of them related to much older versions of Windows. So I fear that it’s a matter of time before a suitable driver won’t be available for later versions of Windows. It would be much better if the device was USB MIDI plug and play, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. The brief user manual is barely adequate to get started, so I think some computer savvy is needed to figure out some aspects. I found a few web pages and YouTube vids that helped me figure out some mysteries. A better user manual would help speed the learning process in regard to programming the pedal, and for switching banks.I’ve only tested the device for a few days, and understand how to program the buttons and “messages” (banks). The driver seems to introduce a bit of latency but I haven’t yet measured it. I’ll continue to use and test, and will update this review if more useful tips can be provided.

It works grest with my hx stomp. I just wish it had a power switch so I didn't have to ubolug it from my pedalboards power supply to power off. I had some issues at the start as well where the parameters weren't saved and I had to reprogram it a couple of times. It's been a month with no issues though.
