These diode LEDs are great! I was looking for a solution that allowed me to solder Diode LED’s to my custom mechanical keyboard, after some research, I found that 2x3x4mm Diodes were best as they would not interfere with the key caps.If you look around there are many other options that sell for way too much money unless you ordered in high quantities (like 500+). As I only needed 100 I was happy to find these. They are great value at $29.78 (at time of purchase).Once they arrived I completed a quick sanity test and tested all 100 of the LEDs with my multimeter, all worked without a hiccup. Soldering was easy, you slot these in, solder, and clip the remaining ends.I am extremely satisfied with the end results, I am able to use my keyboard software functions to dim the LEDs as well, but otherwise, they all have the same consistent light color and brightness, they are very bright as well. A nice addition to backlight my custom mechanical keyboard. They do not seem cheap or of low quality. For those looking for Diode LED’s, especially for a custom mechanical keyboard, I can highly recommend these as a great option!For those wondering this is a Tofu96 DIY keyboard kit, with the DZ96 PCB (solder), brass backplate, Zealios V2 65g switches, and GMK Boba Fett keycaps.
