A neat and inexpensive little stainless steel jug, useful for the milk used in lattes, cappuccinos etc. The 350ml size is about the same as a coffee mug, so about right for small domestic coffee machines. I haven't yet tried the stencils, but they look fun!

The set arrived in a plain cardboard box, inside which you get the steaming jug itself, a bunch of sprinkle stencils and a latte art ‘pen’ which is just a small stainless steel rod with two different tips for manipulating milk foam. The various pieces were all covered with separate plastic bags and everything arrived as described and in perfect condition. The outside of the jug has a mirror polished surface without any blemishes or marking from manufacturing, honestly the product images don’t really do it any justice as it looks superb. With the way these are stamped from sheet stock I expected the bottom of the jug to show some marking from the process, but even there the jug is nicely finished with a subtle texture that looks great. The handle is tacked into place on the jug firmly and has no movement or play due to being made from a reasonably thick stainless steel strip. The jug has a dark etched measurement scale on the inside that indicates the amount of liquid inside the jug in both millilitres and fluid oz. I placed the jug on my scales and used it to compare the scale to the actual liquid inside, and it's more than accurate enough for my needs. It roughly ends up about 8ml over at the top of the 350ml marker, but that's well within the acceptable range in my opinion as it’d only ever be used for roughly estimating the amount of milk you’re pouring into the jug. If it bothers you, or you’re meticulous enough to weigh the milk for your drinks, you can just ignore the measurements on the jug anyway.I could take or leave the accessories included alongside the jug as I don't particularly care about doing latte art or adding fancy sprinkle or powder based art on my drinks, but if you wanted to mess around with those they’re made well enough and would do the job. The included stencils cover a decent range of holidays themes and also some generic ones that would be fine for use throughout the year.I’ve got no real complaints with how it functions, it’s large enough for pretty much any single milk drink you could want to make, even for the folks who enjoy very foamy milk. The thinness of the jug makes it react quickly to the temperature of the milk you’re steaming. Which means you can easily keep track of how hot the milk is by touch, like most jugs about 3 seconds after the wall is too warm to touch works great for most machines. It can also be quickly brought up to temperature with a quick blast from your steam wand if you’re splitting milk from a larger jug for two or more drinks. Daily cleaning of the inside is as easy as you’d expect for a stainless steel jug; a quick swipe with the soft side of a soapy sponge or a dishcloth will clean it just fine. The current price of £8.39 puts this about a pound or so higher than other vendors and brands selling essentially the same product without the plastic stencils. So if the extra 16 stencils for sprinkles and powder is appealing to you then this is one of the better priced options at the moment. If you aren’t particularly bothered about latte art then you can get these 350ml jugs for around 6 or 7 quid.Happy to recommend the product, I can't fault it, and it’s good value assuming you want a milk jug that comes with the stencils.
