*******Updated review. My wife is disabled and prone to falls/fainting. My wife often forgets her fall alarm so I needed a pull cord for the two most likely areas of accidents.I wasn’t sure what to expect with this as there are no reviews - but it looked good so I ordered it.Firstly I was a bit disappointed to find the instructions were pretty basic, nothing to say that the base unit needs constant charging or how long the back up battery lasts. But apart from that it looks to be very good, we did many tests and it is exactly what I need. The two pull cord units are battery operated (batteries included) and super easy to activate/deactivate. They connected to light unit straight out of the box (I had to remove and reinstall the battery before first use) and you get a handy sticker pad for mounting them on a wall.I need to say they are loud. Very loud. I didn’t change the siren so I left it a high pitched siren. You will need a very small screwdriver for the batteries and a small screwdriver if you want to mount the light on a wall (or door frame).I have one pull cord alarm in the bedroom and the other in the bathroom. Both have a SOS push switch and a large cancel button. Both have a flashing light to show they are activated. The main hub light is light up to show you when it is powered on and has battery back up in case of a power cut (which is great)For the price I am really impressed - I will do a long term review and see how the pull alarms do (especially the one in the bathroom - see how waterproof it is).Updated review - well I’ve had a them couple of months and have discovered 1 major drawback - the sticky pad (if you put 1 in a bedroom) will fall off - a lot.So all in all pretty good.
