You need to think exactly what you want it for. I needed it to occasionally change some (pre boot) options on my server without taking monitor/cables to server cupboard and asking my GF to hold monitor for me as cables were too short to put it on the ground. She was really annoyed about that. So now (after buying this gizmo) I just take a piece of network cable and connect server to the monitor (about 11meters) without any hassle or help. Until I can afford a server with iDRAC/iLO/KVM/IPMI I'll be using this thing. BUT if you want to watch videos or even remote desktop trough this thing - forget about it. Resolution is low, there is a lot of "shadows" or interference on the screen. This gizmo uses 8 unshielded cables instead of 15 fully shielded ones so there is no way to "transfer" 1080 video trough it. Still I give it 5 stars as I knew about its limitations.

Sicuramente il loro lavoro lo svolgono, però in modo molto limitato. Anche con un cavo ethernet cat7 schermato il segnale perde qualità molto rapidamente (non è un segnale chiaro ma lascia delle "strisciate" sui colori chiari) e anche a risoluzioni basse (1024x768). Forse può funzionare per 800x600 o meno. Ho provato a controllare se c'era qualche pin scollegato, ma con i collegamenti che ha, è già il meglio che può fare.
