The binoculars themselves are outstanding for the price. They "feel" like an expensive pair of Steiners or Swarovskis in hand. The image quality is very good, especially in low light. Not the best in areas of high albido (bright snowy meadows) and do suffer from prismatic distortion to an extent. If you keep your expectations in check, these are stellar. But if you want Swarovski optical quality, you'll have to spend what they're worth. I'll be using these for bear hunting this spring and in overcast/low light conditions they should excell.

Brilliant binoculars. Sharp images and close focus makes it more usable in different situations. For star gazing tripod is recommended.

I have used several different brands of Binocular over the years but always cheaper brands. I do field archery and the maximum range I normally shoot at is 80 yards. I need my binos to give me a good clear image even in dark wooded areas so that I can place my arrows accurately. I don't have the luxury of being able to spend over a thousand pounds on one of the very top brands so I did a lot of research before deciding to buy these Bresser Condor 10x50s. The image quality is astounding! The ten times magnification is just about the max most people will be able to manage hand held and still have a steady image. Coupled with the 50mm lenses at the front the image is bright and clear with no colour fringing in most lighting conditions and negligible vignetting or softening around the edges. They are comfortable to use and easy to adjust and feel very well made. At this price I think you will be hard pressed to find a better product with similar specs.
