Well made, no self noise, effective eq but adds gain rather than clean boost. If you try to use it as a preamp/volume boost for a passive acoustic pickup it’s fine for clean into an amp/PA but can mess up the sound on a loop pedal. Nice warm drive effect on electric into a valve front end, less so with analog solid state, and for digital amps it’s kinda pointless tbh

Cumple perfectamente su función, no genera ningún ruido y su espectro es amplio. Su relación calidad - precio es fantástica. Construcción robusta con carcasa metálica y un switch de pulsación muy amigable, sin tope. El color del pedal es de un azul más oscuro que el que aparece en las imagenes de venta. Un pedal muy, muy recomendable.

I used it in rehearsal the same day it arrived and it worked perfectly! This pedal is really good value for money. You can't really go wrong with Blackstar. I would recommend this for anyone wishing to add a Boost Pedal to their collection, as it's especially good for making those guitar solos louder!!

GREAT PEDAL I LEAVE IT ON ALL THE TIME.WHEN USED WITH THE BLACKSTAR DUAL YOU GET A GREAT CREAMY LEAD SOUND,VERY FAT.WORKS WELL WITH MY LES PAUL OR TELE.IT JUST MAKES EVEYTHING SOUND BETTER,

I am 100% happy with this product.The casing is a substantial piece of metal. The controls operate just as they should. Set at 12 o'clock, they do not appreciably colour the tone. There is a slight "bump" as the boost is engaged, which will matter to some people but not to others. I leave it on all of the time, because it matches the guitar's low-output pickup to a keyboard amplifier. If this were lost I would immediately buy another.
