I needed a new seat post and this one has done the job perfectly. It is strong, light and fitting my seat on it was a bit of a hassle, but that is just how it is on every seat post. Alternately, you could take your bike and post to a bike shop and have them do the work for you.But I like this, it's long enough to make adjustments and strong enough to support whatever height you choose.

I needed a seatpost for a bike I'm building for my neighbor's son for Christmas. I don't want to spend a lot of money on it so I need to find durable, inexpensive parts that will work. I chose this one as it was available in the right size, 27.2mm, and was in my price range.The seatpost is made from aluminum. It uses a 2-bolt mount for the saddle. The hardware included is stainless. The finish is well applied and it has minimal branding. The post measures at exactly 27.2mm which is perfect. It is 400mm long and weights 348 grams.It's a good basic seatpost that will get the job done.
