The tripod seems to be good, from the feedback there is online.However, as for the item itself, it was returned the day after, since it came with a bent top panoramic screw, missing the manual, spiked feet and allen keys. Even the plastic around the pouch was missing and the box was not sealed, what makes me think this was a previous unchecked return.

First impressions of this tripod, which arrived only a day after ordering, were that it couldn’t possibly be for travel. Out of the box it appeared to be so solid, smooth and chunky - surely too heavy to be carried around up and down hills and mountains?Once assembled, it showed just how sturdy it is - able to withstand a fair amount of wind and storm, I would imagine. Speaking of the set up, this was very easy. The legs extend by twisting rubber ‘handles’ - only by a quarter turn or so from tight to loose, most reassuring.However, once back in the ample carry bag (with optional shoulder straps), it revealed itself to be both acceptably small and quite light. Not sure I’d be carrying it up mountains (then again I’m old and feeble - wouldn’t be climbing mountains anyway), but I’d certainly be happy to have it in the boot of the car, ready for use at nearby locations.Not the cheapest of tripods, but not the most expensive either - for me, this high quality product was well worth the money.
