You must clean the wall very thoroughly and let dry before installation. It was easy to cut and install, and I love the brushed metal pieces mixed in. However, I had one piece that wouldn't stick down properly, and 6 months later there are several that are no longer flat. But it is still a really pretty way to update my 1987 bathroom and keeps the splashes off the paint.

These completely transformed our kitchen and it was so simple! It’s been a few months and they’re still holding up well. Everyone compliments our kitchen backsplash!

We had a steel sheet as a splashback which we never liked much (part of a deal when fitted) and I intended to replace with ceramic tiles but struggled to find ones we liked. Then these popped up on Amazon and they looked like a decor match at least, so ordered. Was very pleased to see a good match to our quartz worktops and brushed steel unit handles.Preparation is key. I ensure the wall was as clean and smooth as I could make, then measured as to where the place the first block. Peeling off backing was easy and a careful application to the wall secured. Important to get it right first time - as the adhesion is strong and the tiles are not adjustable once positioned. Only do this job when calm and not under pressure. The design is three blocks across and 2 and a bit up. Those that went to the left of the starter went well. Those to the right have tiny gaps where they knit and I must attribute this to imperfection in the plastered wall. Only noticeable close up. I need to find a way of sealing as, despite being so tiny, they will allow egress of water/steam from cooking and could create mould or release of tile eventually. For the topping, I only needed 6 rows so I counted then folded to crease the backing paper. A stanley knife made easy work of cutting. A not difficult morning's work - easier and cleaner than trad tiling. Only mess was to throw away the paper backings.

This is sort of plasticky-cardboardy and looks quite good, despite it. It consists of all the small bits being separate but attached together so is much better for places that will not be pour water onto Light occasional splashing should be fine but anything reminiscent of a constant drizzle might be too much of a job for these tiles.Comes with a light smell which should go soon.
