Bought this thinking It was good. Well let me tell you about this product. To start it is a pain to even setup alone and even if there are 2,3 or even 4 people. Trying to pull the 4 corners open with people it doesn't always open correctly. Trying to close it with people is a pain and the canopy ripped at the 4 corners. The canopy rips at the seams easily.

If it were only this item's price point and value, that would be one thing... Or if it were only the quality of construction, the design, function and EASE OF INSTALLATION, that also would be enough of a positive review. But when you combine all of the above with an extraordinarily professional and attentive customer support mechanism, this has been one of the best purchases my wife and I have made on Amazon over these many years as a prime buyer. This is our third purchase of this item, and our satisfaction with all of the above is almost beyond description. To say we would highly recommend this vendor to any Amazon client wishing to purchase this item would be an understatement.

The tent overall was relatively easy to assemble. It would have been easier if someone helped me but I managed to put it up with the 4 walls within 45 minutes. However, after anchoring the tent into the ground and leaving it outside, it didn't last more than 5 days. We had a stronger than normal wind one night and I woke up to find the tent completely mangled, with 2 of the 4 legs bent almost 90 degrees, along with other unrepairable damage to the flimsy rods. For the price, I would think they would use more reliable material as I've had tents before that could withstand getting blown over or maybe they could include more than 4 little anchor rods. I'm quite disappointed in this product and now have to figure out how to pull it apart to throw in the trash. I would only buy this for temporary use in calm conditions.

So, I have purchased and used several canopies like this from different manufacturers over the years. Hands down this is the sturdiest, with the hardiest canopy that we have purchased. The canopy kept out all rain, November rains I might add which can be pretty cold making most canopy material rigid and prone to rips at the sewn seams. This canopy held up very well. We put up the canopy "walls" and found them to be extremely sturdy also. The Velcro used where the wall meets the canopy was heavy duty and never once came apart in those winds. The stakes used to "pin" the canopy legs to the ground were meaty and long with only one ever having came up out of the ground about halfway during the month we left this canopy up. I utilized the rope that came with it which is designed to come off each corner I assume, given the "loops" in the canopy at each corner, in an X pattern on the two sides. Meaning, I tied one end at the bottom of a leg and tied it to the loop in the canopy on the opposite side. Repeating that tie down from the bottom of the second leg, on up to the loop on the canopy at the 1st leg. I repeated that X tie down on the opposite side. Again, stood up to all the weather events with no problem. (never seen snow so can't attest to that but assume it would still hold up well) Also, when really heavy winds arrived I raised the "walls" off the ground and held them up with plastic clamps. This allowed the wind to blow through which I assume helped it keep standing. My biggest knock against this setup is the pathetic carrying case they provided with it. Calling it a case is a mistake, more like a "sock" made out of lighter weight material canopy like material with a couple of strips of material used as handles. For what you pay for this, and the high quality of its construction, to include a wimpy sock to store it in just wrong. My goodness, even the 80 dollar ones at Walmart include a heavy duty case to carry and store the canopy in. Oh well, money well spent imho.....
