I am thrilled with this product. One of these ice packs fits perfectly into a zipped mesh pocket inside each of my kids' lunchbags. I have felt much more confident that I can send spoilable food with them after an incident with food going bad over the summer before I got these. Honestly I haven't really used the fabric pouch although before I got used to cooling my kids food down before adding the ice pack, my elementary-aged child would sometimes complain that things got moist, so that would probably solve that. Because I am keeping the ice pack outside of the plastic lunchbox, I haven't had any issues with the ice packs getting dirty, but they seem durable and easy to wash, and I imagine the fabric is, too since it's easily removable.

I love that the ice packs come with protective, washable pouches, but I personally would rather have more washable pouches than 1. That said, 3 boys 11 and under. I want everything to be washable. HahaThe ice packs seem a bit big for the pouch fully extended or too small folded up in half. I don’t have the exact brand of insulated bag that this calls for though, so I may be missing something.

I actually wanted these for a perhaps unusual reason. Just got thru Hurricane Ian and feared loss of power. Since I am diabetic and take insulin which has to be kept chilled I needed something to keep them cool. These are the perfect size and come with a closable fabric pouch. I can keep a weeks worth of insulin pens cool for a day with each pak. The cooler paks have a line dividing the middle making it super easy to fold if you choose. Makes it easy to create a cooler for my pens. Extremely Happy with these for my unusual purpose. But yes, these are nice for lunchboxes as well.

This is a pretty good gel ice pack set. The ice packs do not freeze rock hard, so there’s a bit of flexibility to them. I like the included cover; it keeps condensation at bay. My only dislike is that the set only comes with one cover. If the set came with two covers, this would be a 5-star set.

These gel packs are smaller than expected to be large gel packs. However, they are a great size for lunch boxes. Also, I wish there was a sleeve for each gel pack.
