So I was somewhat dubious when my order arrived as the package was so light. Undeterred I unpacked the item and the first thing I noticed was the storage pouch. To be honest the pouch isn’t the best. Camouflage on one side, clear plastic on the other and no carry strap just a top loop, but then again this is purely a storage case so is t really particularly important.I took out the stick itself and I must say it looks great. It retains a natural wood look but not being completely straight, and retains the natural features of the wood. The engraving at the top is exactly as advertised, and the finish was a high gloss shine.I’ve seen other reviews that suggested the ferrule on the bottom is not suitable as it’s rubber, but it seems to be fairly hard so should last a fair while, and my local walking stick guy can replace for metal for only £1.50 so it’s not a big deal.Despite being very light this stick seems very sturdy. I leant by full weight on it (80g) and there was only the slightest flex.The handle grip is soft and comfortable as is the leather strap, although I would have liked this to be slightly longer, but that’s purely my preference and is not an issue as it is. The height is perfect for me too (5’10”), and the compass is a nice touch too.I’m planning on completing regular long off-road hikes, so time will tell how it ends up, but at this stage I would definitely recommend for the amateur walker.

Très jolie canne de marche. Le manche fait bien travailler, la protection est super... Et la boussole fait son petit effet. Super
