Have just bought my second one of these after about 18 months of abusing the first in all weathers. Clip still worked fine, but the lead was looking a bit tatty.Must confess to being a bit of an Ancol fan since they've become my go-to manufacturer for all dog related stuff (I have no connection other than as a customer) - lead, harness, car seatbelt, ID tube, towels etc. etc. All are well-designed, inexpensive and excellent quality; this lead is no exception. It's the perfect length with the added advantage of doubling up if necessary. Also weatherproof, comfortable on the hands and lightweight with durable hardware. What more could you want?I usually add a few drops of 3-in-1 to the clip now and then to help with waterproofing the spring.

Perfect, just what we need for lead/recall training. Really strong and comfortable to use and can double up as an everyday walking lead.

Neat and tidy, not 'wrinkly' like some anti-shock leads, and clips readily to your usual lead. Lightweight. I'd remove it for walking by a road or if you need close-control of your dog, though it is quick and easy to do this and it will fit easily into a pocket or treat-bag. Perfect strength for a medium dog, though I'm not sure it would be strong enough for a very large, powerful dog. I use it clipped to the back of my dog's harness, with a retractable lead for when I can't safely let her off-lead, and although she can still get a run-up, she feels the tug of the bungee and naturally slows before she hits the 'twang' at the end. It's saved my shoulders and hers!

Er macht einen stabilen Eindruck, allerdings war mir der Karabiner zu groß und das Gummi so fest, dass der Dämpfer sicher nur bei sehr großen und schweren Hunden eine Wirkung zeigt. Daher wurde er von mir zurückgeschickt. Für meinen Hund (50cm/16kg) ungeeignet!
