Let me start by saying I'm not a coffee snob, but I have a friend who is. We both really enjoy the coffee that comes from the Aeropress GO. It's easy to use, as portable as can be, comes with a ton of filters and everything else you need for the perfect cup of coffee. If you don't have the space for a whole machine, this'll be the brewer for your bean!

Acquistato da usare in viaggio, si è rivelato un ottimo strumento. Basta utilizzare la miscela di caffè giusta, si può poi usare acqua calda o fredda a piacimento e dosare ovviamente la lunghezza del caffè. Il risultato è come quello di un caffè fatto con la moka, anche se utilizzando il "procedimento inverso" di cui si trovano vari video su youtube, si riesce ad ottenere un risultato ancora migliore e anche un pò di schiumetta superficiale. Un consiglio, evitate di pressare il pistone fino alla fine, perchè, schiacciando troppo il caffè viene pressato troppo e rilascia un pò di retrogusto acidulo (ma dipende dai gusti)

Het kuiswerk en terug klaarmaken voor een volgende shot duurt echt niet lang. Spoelen met water is voldoende en gaat snel. Zeer tevreden van deze aankoop!

After trying almost all coffee preparation methods, such as turkish, moka, v60, immersion, and of course, espresso (years of learning and practice), I've come to the conclusion that the Aeropress is the most simple and quick way to make delicious coffee. Moreover, you don't need to have extensive experience or special skills. You'll be able to find the most suitable recipe for yourself much sooner compared to other methods. And there's a wide range of experimentation possibilities. I absolutely recommend it to everyone!

Molto comodo e fa un ottimo caffè con la miscela giusta

Da poco ho iniziato ad esplorare il mondo del caffè, all'inizio ero partito usando una French press, che risulta sempre scomoda da pulire, così ho deciso di provare Aeropress.Da quando l'ho acquistata è diventata indispensabile per la mia mattina e non solo.I punti forti:-Pulizia, penso che il punto forte sia proprio la pulizia, a dir tanto 2 minuti.-Versatilità, risulta molto versatile, esistono diverse ricette online che si possono provare per fare caffè di diverse intensità adatta a soddisfare le varie esigenze.-Portabilità, so che esiste la versione da casa che è di una tazza più grande, ma penso che questo valga per entrambe. Sono facilmente portatili, non solo in montagna mentre si fa trekking (anche perché puoi portare un termos con dentro direttamente il caffè in quel caso), ma in ufficio e università. Io sono uno studente, potermi bere un buon caffè senza spendere molto e soprattutto ovunque, è un enorme pro, soprattutto per chi come me ne beve molti di caffè. Il fatto di avere il tutto in una tazza (se si trova anche un contenitore cilindrico per il caffè macinato, magari la mattina, si può inserire nel foro nel retro dello stantuffo).Contro:-Quantità, per me è un contro abbastanza debole, ma ho voluto condividere comunque perché capisco che per alcuni possa esserlo. Ci sono molte ricette che suggeriscono di fare un caffè concentrato per poi allungare con acqua. Anche in caso non si voglia provare questo metodo, se si usa il metodo inverso, che riduce la quantità di acqua che si può inserire, si arriva facilmente a 150 ml, che sinceramente a me bastano.-Filtri, utilizza filtri che possono essere quelli standard di carta (già presenti nella confezione all'acquisto) o si può acquistare a parte uno in metallo. Per quel che ho visto, il costo dei filtri è molto basso (6/7€ 350 filtri) e sono biodegradabili, però rimane comunque il fatto che bisogna acquistarli. Si potrebbe usare un filtro in metallo o in stoffa che costano decisamente di più, ma sono riutilizzabili (metallo per sempre, stoffa un po' meno), in questo caso si tenderà ad avere residui nel caffè, cosa che non accade quasi mai con quelli di carta.-Sapore, molto simile ad una French press, non fa un espresso. So che esistono estrusori che consentono di arrivare ad un simil espresso (geopresso e Prismo), ma non li ho mai provati, e comunque non sono parte di questo prodotto base.

Ci vuole un po' di pratica per capire come fare il caffè di buon sapore ma quando si riesce e davvero eccezionale. Io uso il metodo inverso (online si trova la spiegazione) e trovo sempre una consistenza e sapore migliore. Ottima anche la compattezza per transporto. Io lo uso tanto per viaggiare allora ho scelto questa versione. Se invece lo usate solo a casa e volete più ml di caffè comprate la versione classica.

Invented for a single cup of coffee - this coffee maker has quite a following and even world championship contests. After getting "into" coffee (yes, I've been drinking and enjoying coffee for years but never really "into" it) my wife wanted an espresso machine and down the coffee rabbit hole I went. Normally, I may brew 4-8 cups of coffee in our automatic drip coffee maker - sometimes it would be only me that drank any that morning and we'd waste half a pot regularly. With coffee bean prices going up and having access to a decent grinder I looked at other ways to make my morning "grog". Now I'm just a beginner at the AeroPress (only a few short weeks) but I've YET to make a bad cup of coffee with it. Even if you factor in "beginner's luck" or closely following directions/recipes found on YouTube (weighing coffee and water, checking temperature, applying the correct amount of pressure) which I'm not - I still seem to get great coffee time and time again. I'm no barista, in fact, until about a month ago I don't think I could have spelled barista - that doesn't mean I haven't been able to appreciate good coffee - I've had very good coffee here in the US in nice Italian restaurants and great Italian espresso in Italy (though it's been a few years). The AeroPress is not going to make (likely) the best cup of coffee you've ever had but I'm willing to bet it will not make the worst either (even if you've gone "rogue" and completely ignored any AeroPress recipe or technique).Before I explain why I think the Travel AeroPress is "best" AeroPress let me share what my experience is with the directions that come along with the coffee maker (regardless of model). Other's will likely agree and it's almost a theme for reviews or how-to videos that you should only read the directions that come with the AeroPress on the way to trash can / recycle bin where they should be deposited. Some may claim that these instructions are just plain wrong - others claim that they're ambiguous but could be followed with some success. When I attempted to follow the directions I made good coffee but just not what most of us would consider to be a "cup" (five or six ounces or more) of coffee. I won't go into detail about how I make mine today since there's hundreds if not thousands of videos on social media that are great in showing how to make a single, double or even three cups at a time - the inventor has presentations on making a cup and talks about some of the history and evolution of the device - worth watching for sure.So why do I think the Travel AeroPress is "best" AeroPress? Well for a few reasons. First if you plan to "take it with you" either to work, school (college/university) it's designed to be contained in one items - technically you do not need a cup or mug but unless you plan to brew "inverted" you may need something to pour your water into (hint the inner cylinder / plunger holds what I think is a perfect amount of water if you're using volume not weight measurements) freeing up the cup to make the coffee in the non-"inverted" way. If you're not traveling or bringing your AeroPress with you to work/school etc. I still think the Travel AeroPress is the way to go simply because it stores away in itself - the non-travel version really doesn't take up a lot of space but if your kitchen is like mine parts and accessories get lost and if I can keep things together there's far less of a chance I'll loose things. All put together the coffee maker is about the size of one of those extra large mugs that typically says "World's Greatest Dad" or "I'm not a crazy cat lady". I also find the cup to be very handy in pouring hot water (to wet the filter paper - if you're in to that) along with a place to wash/rinse the AeroPress itself if you are away from a sink - the edges of the included cup make pouring work compared to the normal round edges of a "normal cup or mug" - no tendency to spill down the front and make additional mess. The stir is a nice design and again it stores away inside the plunger along with the scoop. The filter paper container is also nice - even if you make a few cups a day you'll likely not have to re-stock the travel container very often (maybe on the weekend check to see if you're getting low).So I do not believe you can go "wrong" with any AeroPress models - the thing works great - if the "regular" model was 1/2 the price I'd probably have to "opt" for that but the difference in price between the two models is only a few dollars and for me at least I think the compact, store inside itself design is worth it."Size Note" - the original AeroPress is a tad bit larger (the cylinder is taller so more volume) - making a larger cup (or two smaller ones) in one press might be the deciding factor.Enjoy your coffee!

Ho comprato tempo fa L'aeropress e mi sono appassionato alla sua versatilità, provo ogni mese ricette nuove, devo dire che questa versione da viaggio è comodissima. mi sono persino follemente fatto un caffè in montagna a fine hiking, riscaldato acqua e via! Il bicchiere isola dal calore eccessivo grazie al motivo esterno, ovviamente non è gomma quindi non aspettatevi nulla di che ma fa il suo dovere. la paletta pieghevole per girare è eccezionale, vorrei fosse la stessa anche sul modello base è comodissima. Il packaging permette di trasportare tutto al suo interno comodamente non occupa spazio eccessivo nello zaino.

Ottimo prodotto, si può usare sia con caffè da moka che da filtro, metodo di estrazione facile e clemente anche per i principianti. Facile da riporre e da pulire. L'unico neo è il porta filtri che non resta chiuso neanche sotto tortura. Ho risolto con un pezzo di nastro adesivo, ma che nervoso!per questo 4 stelle. Nel complesso lo consiglio
