Great book for when you're not just a beginner anymore. Lots and lots of scales, exercises and when you're ready, double tonguing and trills. Lots for me to work on. I wish they had one for sopranos as well.

英語を読む苦労はありますが、書いてあることは演奏者として非常に参考になります。冒頭のトリル練習、それにつづくスケール練習と、シンプルですが奥の深いレッスンが目白押しです。毎日10分さらうだけで、頭と指が鍛えられます。中級以上、ステップアップをはかりたい方におすすめです。

I am in my 70s and learning to play the recorder. This book may be a bit too far advanced for me but I am certainly finding it useful in my playing. Hopefully I will live long enough to complete and apply all the studies.
