Schnelle, gut verpackte Lieferung.Ausgepackt, die saubere wertige Ausführung bewundernd, habe ich die Schutzkappe abgenommen, die Schraube an der Seite aufgedreht ( wobei der Dichtungsring abfiel, den ich deshalb nachher mit Patex an die Schraube geklebt habe), und los ging es. Die Pfeife ist laut, man sollte im Keller üben. Ist die Schraube fest zugedreht, gibt es nur einen schrillen Pfeifton, löst man sie 3 - 4 Umdrehungen kann man mit der Zunge und unterschiedlicher Luftstärke zweistimmige Töne ind Trillerfrequenzen erreichen. Üben lohnt sich. Aber : die einheimische Amsel ist verschwunden - wegen Konkurrenz oder aus Empörung?!?

I got this whistle because it sounded different and realistic bird call. I didn't expect that the sparrows in the backyard would come down and landed close by and watch me play with the whistle. I just hope that the neighbors won't get irritated by me blowing this thing all the time. The instructions were horrible and way off. It took a long time to get this to sound nice. Here's what worked for me. I used a plastic pipet to fill the water. Instead of filling with only 1/4, I'd fill it at least 1/3 with water. When I cover up the whistle hole and blow in it and can hear the bubbles, I know that I have enough water. Instead of leaving the rubber grommet and screw off, I'd put it on but loosely; this gave it louder and more consistent calls. It tends to have a consistent nice effect if I tilt it and hold it at about 45 degrees instead of upright. This tends to get it to create the Nightingale call instead of just a whistle. I noticed that I didn't have to blow as hard when holding at 45 degrees.
