L'ho acquistato, come immagino chiunque, per provare un po' a suonare la slide prima di decidere se acquistarne una.Non è fantastico. Rispetto al costo, che per un pezzo di ferro e un elastico mi sembra esorbitante, la costruzione è decisamente cheap.Il piccolo tubo di metallo, infilato sul telaietto a U che compone il capo, non ha nessun freno. Se lo tieni per esempio in una tasca, si sfila e rischi di perderlo.Non lo rendo perchè è l'unico che ho trovato che mi permette di fare una veloce modifica su qualsiasi chitarra e provare a suonarla con lo slide. Ma se volete destinare una chitarra (magari una resonator) permenentemente a questo vi consiglio un ponticello rialzato da installare stabilmente.Anche quelli, comunque, sono abbastanza cari, e forse varrebbe la pena farsene uno.

This is a nice, basic, simple capo for classical guitar.Effective, lightweight, easy to use, and inexpensive.Really, this is all you need. Too bad this model is getting to be so hard to find.

I've seen not-so-great reviews on this product and like many things, you have to know what you are getting. A little tough to figure out how to put on, but once you do, it works as I expect. Raises the strings very high to use a guitar JUST as a slide or pseudo-lap steel . You cannot use the guitar as normal with this on. Also, you can't do drastic tuning differences when it is on ( for example you cannot take the high Estring and try to go down to a drop D on the thinnest string.... it will break which was my experience. ) Lastly you have to tune all the strings on guitar I have to step higher in order to have the Notes what you are used to honey regular guitar throughout the neck. so while there are those limitations I have to say, as far is just what it is supposed to be used for, to raise the strings for true lap steel type guitar, it works perfect and I'm more than happy with it considering the price. Also it must be noted that I have a dedicated cheaper guitar, made in Mexico telecaster, that I use this on, and that guitar's only use as a pseudo-lap steel.
